Today's students are saturated by competing messages in music, cinema and literature. These courses are designed for teachers who believe that, in the message of the Bible, we have the best story to tell.
Our intention is to provide resources of outstanding quality to enable teachers to strategically approach the way they teach the Bible in secondary schools.
While Biblical Turning Points' books are designed to be the backbone of our courses, we know that an inspirational semester of study needs much more than just a good book!
We want to support teachers as they use this material. This website taps into the creativity and passion of Australian teachers who want to see the Bible taught well and students inspired by its message. We want to encourage teachers to share their ideas with colleagues.
There are already a number of free resources available for teachers on this website to help you bring the story of the Bible to life. Check back regularly as more resources will be posted online before the end of the year.
This course addresses the issue of Biblical illiteracy in students by empowering them to read the Bible and master it’s storyline. The outstanding course book takes students through the major events of the Bible in a semester. A number of creative tools, including a stunning visual aid, help students realise the credibility of the Bible’s story.
Sample books for this course will be sent out to schools in early August.

Course 2 - 'The Kings & Prophets Of Israel'
This course targets one of the most epic and exciting, but rarely read parts of the Bible and blows it wide open for students. It also uses a stunning visual aid and student course book to achieve this goal. Because of its content it has been one of the most well received and popular Biblical Turning Points courses.
Work is currently underway on a new edition of the book for 2011. Samples will be available for teachers at the end of this term.
Each course is designed to be used throughout a semester and contains a Bible reading plan for students, extensive and engaging notes for each chapter, as well as class activities and assessment tasks.
Each course is also complemented by a stunning visual aid, available in fold-out format for students and as a large classroom display.
